This park is home to the renowned Angel Falls, the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, which plunges 3,212 feet from the summit of Auyán-tepui. The park was established in 1962 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its extraordinary landscapes that hold significant cultural importance for the Indigenous Pemon people. The diverse ecosystems within the park support a rich variety of wildlife, including jaguars, giant anteaters, and a plethora of bird species.
